About Pension Calculator

Many Central Government employees retire every month on superannuation. Some opt to take voluntary retirement before the superannuation. Unfortunately, some officers die before their superannuation. The officers of higher grades of course find no problem in the calculation of their retirement benefits. However, lower rank employees find it difficult to know the approximate amount of retirement benefit. The family members of the deceased officers face difficulties to know the approximate amount that they will get. Sometimes they are left with no option but to request the officers of account section of their organisation even to get an idea of the approximate amount. Using this Pension Calculator, the retiree, the employee who is preparing to opt for voluntary retirement before superannuation or the wife or family members of the deceased officers can calculate the exact amount of Gratuity, Pension, Commuted amount etc correctly. This is our small effort to help these people.

Our Mission

Presently, the retirees or the spouse of the deceased employees or their legal heirs have to apply for the pension, gratuity etc on the newly designed "Bhavisya" portal. They have to submit the filled in forms to the HOD of their department for processing of the pension papers. After that, the papers will be submitted to the concerned Pay & Accounts Officer for necessary actions. Practically, they get it done through the officers of the department who look after the pension case. The applicants do not know whether the calculations are correct or not. The amounts payable, such as gratuity, commuted value, pension after commutation etc are correct or not. Some mistakes may occur during entering the data by them.
So, before, submitting the data in Bhavisya portal, the retirees, officers opted for voluntary retirement and the wife or other legal heir of the deceased officers can ensure the amount of Gratuity, Commuted Value and pensions after commutations etc by this calculator. They can compare these amounts with the amount calculated through Bhavishya portal. This calculator eliminates the need of manual computation and processing of the input data. With this calculator the user can obtain the exact values of the benefits by providing minimum required input data.
